Nursing - LPN

Position Summary:

Under general supervision of the RN/Care Team Leader, the LPN provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Claiborne County Medical Center in collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team. Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief Nursing Officer and other Nursing Leaders.

Position Requirements:

A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current License in the State of Mississippi as a Licensed Practical

B. Education: Diploma from an accredited nursing program.

C. Experience: One (1) year previous experience in acute care, geriatric/psychiatric or skilled nursing facility preferred.

D. Special qualifications: BLS - health care provider. Good communication skills, both orally and written. Ability to work with others as a team to ensure quality patient care.
